Joyce H showed this word on the plinth, shortly before learning that Little Miss had achieved more space, being born as granddaughter Madeleine in Houston! Houston is, of course, control centre of the NASA Space programme.

First-time grandmother on the plinth

Joyce H became a grandmother during her time on the plinth.

If you watch the recording (on the One and Other website) you can see her becoming rather excited and jumping up and down when she received the news that she was a grandmother for the first time.

Here is her new granddaughter, Madeleine, soon after she was born in Houston, Texas.
